Geometric method
This is third method of calculating elasticity it is also called point method
Or line method
In this method we calculate elasticity by using the formula lower segment divided by upper segmenti
First we draw a straight line demand curve .take any point on it .the elasticity of demand at that point is calculated by using the above formula.
