Learn how to use auxiliary verbs.
Learn new vocabulary on the lesson topic – sentence focus & word focus integrate.
Students have to produce their own ideas to make the negative sentences work.
Students could write their own starting sentences: person, place, time, object… Could be simplified, e.g. “John is eating pizza. / What…?”
Flexibility: sentence block extensions; + use the same sentences with sentence building, s/stress, pronunciation, and connected speech work.
Watch out for:
Questioning intonation; ums and ahs; writing; focus wandering.
