There are several ways to work with power or to receive it.
First we will go over the different types of “power” or energy that can be connected to. Then we wil work on Meditation and auras.
Since this is a online class. You will have to find a partner to work with. Some of this could be done with a pet who will hold still for pratice. Children can work also.. Those you might get giggles and that you tickling them. Another adult is the best.

Slide 8 : Auras
Here is Starhawk exercise sensing in auras (condensed]
Pendulum method: Hold pendulum so that it swings about 2 feet over the other’s head. Lower the pendulum slowly instructing it to swing when it reaches the aura. Practice until you cut consistently find the edge. Check all around the body. Search for areas of tension, vortexes of energy, etc.
Direct Method: Lower your hand, palm towards the other, into the field of the aura. Stop when you can feel the outer edge. Scan the body, look for areas of tension, also for power centers.
Damping and projecting Energy: Locale the other’s aura over the head. Subject do tree grounding silently and channel power through the body and out the top of bead. Receiver attempts to discern the increased flow. Now the subject should damp energy, visualizing some sort of absorptive shield. Receiver attempt to tell what is happening.
Seeing the aura: Seat the subject in front of a neutral background [black or white]. Practice looking at them until somehow you can see/sense the astral body. See if you can see colors.
Slide 9 : The healing hand

Place your hands over (without touching) the portion of the persons body that your knowledge and/or intuition tells you needs healing. Visualize white light radiating from your hands into the person’s body. Fill the body with this radiated energy as if the patient’s skin were hollow. Allow the light to flow for a few minutes, then let it fade away.
