In Grammar, a Preposition indicates a relation between things mentioned in a Sentence. For Example, in the Sentence "The race starts at the Golf course end", the word "at" is a Preposition, introducing the Prepositional Phrase "at the golf course end". In English, the most used Prepositions are "of", "to", "in", "for", "with" and "on". Part Two offers Explanations and Practice. Highlighted prepositions: At, Before, After, With, and For.
