Talking about personality types : Talking about personality types Every human being is, in one way or another, unique. Everyone’s personality is determined by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. We are going to examine10 personality types that result from the way culture grows, family background and environment.

Slide 2 : Me first Your attitude to life is simple, direct, and aboveboard- every decision you make is based on the answer to one question: what’s in it for me? Your selfishness, greed, and ruthless desire for self-advancement hurt other people, that’s too bad. In this tough world dog eat dog and I am not gonna left behind. An egoist 2. The height of conceit You play a number of variations : what you think, what you have done, how good you are, how you would solve the problems of the world, etc. Your conversation is based on your accomplishments. You have only one thing to talk about; yourself. Have you heard about the money I am making? An egotist

Slide 3 : 3. Let me help you You have discovered the secret of true happiness- concerning yourself with the welfare of others. Never mind your interests, how’s the next fellow getting along. An altruist 4. Leave me alone You minutely examine your every thought, feeling, and other actions. You are in constant thoughts like what do other people think of me? How do I look like? I shouldn’t have said that? are your constant companions,while you are unable to realize that others do not spend much time and energy in analysing you as you think. You may be shy and quite, you are often moody and unhappy and you prefer accompany one person to a crowd. You have aptitude for creative work but are uncomfortable engaging in activities that require cooperation with other people. An introvert

Slide 4 : 5. Let’s do it together You can always become interested-sincerely, vitally interested- in other’s problems. You’re the life of party, because you never worry about the effects of your actions. Yoe are usually happy, generally full of high spirits, you love to be with people. Your thoughts are turning outwards. An extrovert 6. Neither extreme You have both introverted and extroverted tendencies-at different times on different occasions. Your interests are turned both inwards and outwards. Indeed you are quite normal-in the sense that your personality is like that of most people. An ambivert

t : t 7. People are no damn good You hate everyone, always supecting and suspicious. The stupidity, the meanness and crookedness of most mortals- that is your favourite theme. ‘nonosense’ noway… A misanthrope 8. Women are no damn good Sometimes in your past you have been scolded, wounded or crossed by a woman(a mother, or a mother figure perhaps). So you hate all women. A misogynist 9. Marriage is an institution- and who wants to line in an institution? You will not make legal commitment. Memebers of opposite sex are good as room-mates flat or house sharers but not as lawfully wedded spouses. The ties that bind are too binding for you. A misogamist

Slide 6 : 10. Does pursue the pleasures of flesh The simplest food and the least amount of it that will keep body and soul together, combined with absence from fleshy, earthly pleasures, will eventually lead to a spiritual perfection-that is your philosphy. An ascetic
