Proposal for the research (Gender and welfare) Topic – Female immigrants reintegration into labour market.: a comparison of Austrian Lithuanian cases; The main question: what kind of difficulties do female immigrants face to by reintegrating into labour market? Sub-question: Do female migrants have to face certain forms of discrimination by trying to enter the labor markets. Structure approach: Migration to Europe of 3rd country citizens (common view) Analysis of the issue of the immigrants form 3rd world countries in each country (number; what problems they face with (the issue of discrimination); how the states solve this problem, etc.) Comparative view of these countries Possible proposals for solution and approaches Recommendations and conclusions Methods First of all literature analysis will be done: - Analysis of statistical data and studies concerning the issue of migrant reintegration into labour market; - Analysis of main legislations adopted in each observed country Besides literature analysis we would like to complete our research by using interviews with: Experts who work with the migrants and the programs related to migrants integration into labour market (representatives of NGO’s, authority, labour market agencies, etc.); Migrants (how they describe their situation from their point of view) .
