MAIN ORGANS OF THE BODY

What are the main organs of the body? Human anatomy is generally studied by looking at the many and varied organs of the body. Most of these can be grouped together in to different systems on the basis of these organs and their accompanying structures that work together to perform specific body functions. The groups are as follows: Skeletal , Muscular, Nervous ,Endocrine, Respiratory, Cardio-Vascular, Lymph-vascular, Digestive, Excretory and Reproductive. The largest organ in the body is in fact the skin .In an adult it covers about 2km and not only develops the whole body in a protective waterproof layer, but is also part of the heat regulating system. The liver is the most complicated organ with the greatest number of functions.
