The loading process consist on a tiny linux that gets the info of the computer and load the modules depending on it.

Keyboard layout is also relevant depending on your nationality
Timezones also select remote time repository so it can update summer/standard time

Specify parametersfor your networking:
DHCP (Dynamic host configuration protolcol) request an IP
Static IP – state a specific IP by the computer
Hostname – acts as the name of the computer

Make sure that you never boot a system with root
Root is similar to 'administrator'
Regular users such as name, id, password
Each users account will hold their own prefference for desktop or software use
