Slide 4 : 4 Teachers in a F2F situation meet teachers on line for learning and sharing on how to integrate 21st Century skills in their EFL Class.This learning adventure was inspired by the work of a group of dedicated, enthusiastic world wide educators called "Webheads in Action", a 10-year-old community of practice of language teachers worldwide, coordinated by Vance Stevens. They explore Web communication tools and share the best ways of using them in their teaching practices, engage with students in virtual classes, collaborate on projects, and participate in conferences as audience and presenters.
Methodology : 5 Methodology Participants will interact, exchange, share and reflect in the wiki and the ning.
Participants will get in groups.
Since this is a blended experience, we’ll have face to face encounter as well, as online encounters.
Mentors will be assigned to help participants during the six week activities
Participants are expected to keep a record (wiki or blog) to share reflections.
At the end of the sessions, participants should present their reflections in an online session (digifolio) Assesment
Week 1 : 6 Week 1 Friday March, 13th. Time in Venezuela and around the worldIntroductions and getting familiar with our Ning and our Wiki:
Participants will get acquainted with Integrating Technology for Instruction and Learning our Ning platform and with EFL 2.0, our wiki. Once they have been accepted to join this session in our environments, they should:
Write a brief intro about themselves. Work on their profiles
Upload a picture on their Ning Page
Take the survey
Add more photos or interesting videos.
Participate in the different conversations
Offer to help. Become a Mentor
Say hello to all friends and make new ones... :)
Participate in the challenges
