Introduction : Introduction Congratulations! You have been hired as the new architect to reconstruct the Singapore Zoological Gardens by the Singapore Tourism Board.
To be able to reconstruct the zoo, you have to learn the ways to arrange the different animals found in the zoo according to their similar characteristics.
Task : Task All animals found in the zoo can be classified into the 3 main classes:
- Mammals
- Reptiles
- Amphibians
Your group will consist of 3 expert animal class researchers.
Each group member will choose a different animal class to study.
It is your responsibility to learn about their similar characteristics. You will list at least 5 traits of animals belonging to each class.
Using the Cmap software, you will create a concept map consisting of all the relevant information you have collected. You will then share your ideas with your fellow group members.

Now that you have chosen your animal class, you have to use the links that are listed in the Resources page to find similar characteristics of the animals belonging to that class.
You should create a Concept Map of the characteristics of the animals belonging to the same class.
Print your map when you are finished
With your other 2 animal researchers, classify the animals given in this list according to their classes.
After classifying the animals, please check with your teacher on your classifications. If in doubt please visit the following site to know more about the characteristics of the animals listed.

Lastly create a model to show how you will reconstruct the zoo.
Write up a paragraph consisting of no more than 100 words to explain why you designed your zoo in such a manner.
