An Example Introduction : “Good morning everyone! Thank you for taking out time today to attend this important presentation. I believe it will benefit all of you by increasing your effectiveness in presenting our company’s products and services to our customers and potential clients – in English. Without further introduction, I’ll turn it over to Dr. Sally Somers, Director of Employee Training. It’s all yours Sally. “ Thank you Jeff. Good morning to all of you. This morning I am excited to tell you about courses we will offer you this year, but I will focus on our new business English course; I’ll tell you who is allowed to take the course, give you the 2009 course schedule, show you the objectives of the course and course syllabus, and show you the benefits of taking the course; for example, an increase in salary! I’m going to use PowerPoint for my presentation, but you don’t need to take notes. You will receive by e-mail all the necessary course information. My presentation will take approximately one hour. I know how busy all of you are and you need to return to work as soon as possible, so I will try to stick to the scheduled time. I didn’t schedule a break since it is a relatively short presentation, but if you need to go to the restroom, restrooms are located behind the elevators. Feel free to go anytime you might need.
