How do you feel about audio texts? Many English language learners and others benefit from listening to a reading passage. John Graves, who is a doctoral student at a university in New Zealand, developed a text to speech program. John would like to share his work with the world for free in exchange for feedback so he could perfect the wiki-to-text program.

I spend a lot of time recording text for my EFL students, but with wiki to speech a robot will do the work for me and save me the time. This is clearly an example of how technology can make my work as an English teacher much easier. What do you think of the program?
