Three or four years ago… : Three or four years ago… …we were snowed in for a week. Our street – not a remote country road at all - was closed. It was the week before Christmas and we had so many things to do. We were cozy at home, but I started to get “cabin fever” . If you are not familiar with this expression, this is the feeling you get when you are confined/stuck indoors with nothing to do. You can become irritable and restless. It really irritated me that I could not get in my car, have my independence and get to where I needed to go.

Have you had a similar experience? : Have you had a similar experience? Write about it in the chat column. Careful: doing your schoolwork at home day after day can leave you very susceptible to cabin fever . Give some suggestions on how to battle it.

Homeroom will continue, as will Homeroom and IOL : Homeroom will continue, as will Homeroom and IOL Many of you will complete the requirements for the Homeroom and IOL course during the first semester. You need to continue to attend homeroom as part of your attendance requirement. If you don’t attend and complete the response each week your grade will go down. It is your responsibility to contact me at least two times every week. Homeroom and Homeroom response fulfill that requirement. When you complete the course, send me your response via email or OW message. Some of you, because you started the year late or fell behind, did not finish all your weeks of Homeroom and IOL. You will be able to continue from where you left off. Remember that the assignment I give during our meeting is for the “Homeroom Response” assignment each week.
