CONJUGATION OF VERBS : CONJUGATION OF VERBS “ To CONJUGATE” means “to CHANGE” Each verb in Spanish changes form (conjugates) to correspond to different subject pronouns. In other words, each verb has 6 different forms in each tense. So, it is very important that you learn the subject pronouns in “conjugation chart” order.

CONJUGATION OF VERBS : CONJUGATION OF VERBS All verb infinitives end in -ar, -er, or -ir The verbs in each of these ending categories have different conjugation patterns. Most verbs are regular. Once you learn the endings in the pattern, you can conjugate any regular verb in that category. Some very important verbs are irregular. You must memorize the conjugation of these verbs because it does not follow a pattern.

TERMS TO KNOW : TERMS TO KNOW CONJUGATE - to change (a verb) CONJUGATION - the changing of a verb REGULAR VERBS - verbs that follow a conjugation pattern. IRREGULAR VERBS - verbs that do not follow a conjugation pattern. These verbs must be memorized.
