Curator's Department: Research and Authentication : Curator's Department: Research and Authentication Authentication of items ranging from military equipment, historical events of veterans, and so forth prior to unveiling them to the public Items authenticated are a combination of those owned by the museum as well as those publicly loaned Submission of research articles to publishers

Theatre and Re-enactment : Theatre and Re-enactment Various forms of entertainment open to the public ranging from movies, both fictional as well as documentaries that showcase the aspects of war Live performances by theatre groups that re-enact the most defining moments of major historical wars Use of replicated weapons, clothes, and visual effects to give a sense of authenticity

Theatre and Re-enactment : Theatre and Re-enactment Content of the live performances adhere to historical accuracy and will continue for future performances based on the responses of a sample audience Auditions held for theatre groups (regardless of experience or reputation) and each given an equal opportunity to impress a panel of judges with their performance

Cafeteria : Cafeteria Positioned in a general area with easy access Variety of restaurants appealing to the tastes of children, adults, and the elderly Catering vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals Added option of sampling field rations identical to those consumed by soldiers on the front lines

Tours : Tours Provide tours from specialists in the museum’s war-rooms Option of choosing from the numerous tours available to reflect the age of the individuals (such as for children, teenagers, and adults) Tours vary in content, amount of time given to in-depth historical details, and overall enjoyment

Gaming Arcade : Gaming Arcade Housing a wide range of tank, flight, and submarine simulators Classic as well as the newest and most popular video games currently available on the market Games restricted to the genre of military and/or strategic combat (e.g.. First person shooters, board game based strategy games, etc.) Allow visitors the chance to experience (although in a limited way) the environment, sights, and sounds of war as depicting by video games/simulators

Gift Shop : Gift Shop Carry a wide selection of children’s toys, souvenirs, memorabilia’s, literature, and videos

Maintenance : Maintenance Cleaning staff that ensure that the museum (both the interior and exterior) are kept clean and everything is in working condition

Rental Department : Rental Department Renting or booking locations to host special events to the public (may include buildings such as the exhibition centre) Ordering costumes and/or props needed for events

Administration : Administration “Central brain” in which all final decisions on issues or improvements to the museum are made Accept responsibility for most consequences to the museum, either positive or negative

Accounting : Accounting Managing payroll Manage ledger for rental orders and tank rides Manage profits from the auction

Advertising/Public Relations/Customer Service : Advertising/Public Relations/Customer Service Manage museum advertisements Handle customer complaints Provide information to the public regarding museum schedules and upcoming events Publicize unique museum attractions, such as the tank ride, that separate the LIT museum from all others

Exhibits/Educational Programs/Tank Ride : Exhibits/Educational Programs/Tank Ride Exhibits detailing the moments in history which turned the tides of war Educational programs which provide a quick “lesson” of a war Unique opportunity to witness genuine tanks of past wars Provide children of the age of 3-15 years with the opportunity to ride in a tank

Human Resources : Human Resources Manage the hiring/firing of staff Deploy employees to the correct department Manage employee requests and disputes Manage inter-department transfers

Security : Security Museum security through the use of metal detectors at the entrance, video surveillance, and on-hand security employees Maintain discipline among the employees and the visitors Prevent vandalism; secure exhibit items Provide security for important events with honored guests
