"O you who have believed............"
Qur’an 62:9 - O you who have believed, when reminder is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
Allah gives insight on how to live for those that have Believed
Occurs 89 times in the Qur’an
Talks directly to ‘a people’
Talks directly about a course of action
Discusses 4 Primary focuses: Laws that are prescribed, Dealing with the disbelievers, Actions with all people, Actions as to the Remembrance of Allah
Qur’an 4:71 - O you who have believed, take your precaution and [either] go forth in companies or go forth all together.
Qur’an 3:118 - O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
Qur’an 3:130 - O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.
Our PRIMARY focus in life is our Remembrance of Allah, therefore our focus of Jummah will be on the Remembrance of Allah through Allah’s Guidance in the Qur’an from the standpoint of “O you who have believed”
