Description
Definition and basic properties of Laplace Transform are discussed in this video lecture. The Laplace transform takes a function f(t) (of "time") and uses it to manufacture another function F(s) (where s can be complex). The conditions under which the integral of a more general function converges, are explained as well as the region of convergence are stated. Other topics of discussion in this video lecture are , powers, linearity, s-shift rule, sines and cosines and the t-domain and s-domain etc.
