Description
The formulas to find the area of a parallelogram and the volume of a parallelepiped are defined in terms of determinants of the coordinates of the vectors in two and three dimensional spaces respectively. The derivations of such formulas are explained and problems based on these formulas are solved. Application of these formulas in Physics is also explained.
