Description
The line integral for work done around a curve is discussed in this video lecture. The special case when the vector field is a gradient field, how the line integration is to be done that is explained. The difference between the potential energy in physics and the gradient in mathematics is discussed. The fundamental theorem of calculus for line integral is derived.
