Your Labor“Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.”In dealing with you day to day duties as G-d’s chosen vessel, you will come across those who desire to understand salvation; who desire to receive salvation. You must understand G-d’s total plan of salvation and His thoughts and desires for all.G-d desires that all be saved and none perish. Yet Revelations declares some will never acknowledge the sovereignty of G-d nor the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus the Messiah. However, there is a set time for one to come into the kingdom and receive salvation and these who come have already been chosen from the foundation of the world.“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3: 23, 24) So, G-d in His infinite wisdom has seen the state of man and set forth a vehicle by which those He calls may endure until the end and be saved.“But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” (John 6: 64, 65)“So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”[ Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? “ For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory.” (Romans 9: 16-23)G-d in His infinite wisdom and glorious sovereignty chooses those whom He will save. It is our calling and heavenly wisdom as chosen vessels to know His will and plans through much prayer, fasting and communication with Him; to be open and willing vessels to the Holy Spirit at all times and hear what it is saying clearly and lead correctly those who will come. For remember, “But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48)Homework Assignment: (Due: September 29, 2011)Study:Matthew 13: 1-23; 14: 25-33Explain how your walk with G-d is foundational to your ministerial calling and accomplishing your duties to the people G-d gives you charge over.Give the dynamics for your faith being constant and enduring.Explain why G-d must draw people to Christ and why one must focus upon Christ, cast down fear, not focus upon situations around them and ask that Christ bid them to walk to Him.What does water represent?
