Description
How to calculate the maximum and minimum of a function where the variables are not independent. To find a point closest to the origin of a hyperbola is explained using Lagrange's multiples. The validity of Lagrange's method is also discussed. How to build a pyramid with a given triangular base and a given volume is discussed.
