Data interpretation (Bar chart and line chart) : Data interpretation (Bar chart and line chart)
What is Data interpretation? : What is Data interpretation? Data Interpretation can be defined as "the application of statistical procedures to analyze from a particular study". These questions data is presented either in the form of a table or a bar chart or a pie chart or a line graph or as a combination of one of these formats. Following each of these data presentations, there will be 4 to 6 questions. You are expected to answer the questions by interpreting the data given in the table or graph.
How much important it is know DI? : How much important it is know DI? At least 2-3 questions are expected to be asked on DI for SAT and GRE. 3-4 questions are expected to be asked in case of GMAT.
So in terms of score, difference of 60-70 (old GRE pattern) points will be made, if one could solve DI properly.
Hence, there will be difference of 30% scholarship and 60% scholarship.
Certainly it is important to know DI
Is it difficult do solve DI? : Is it difficult do solve DI? No, not at all.
Questions will be very simple, requiring knowledge of finding averages, percentages, simple arithmetic.
The only catch is to understand data properly? OR reading chart properly? Understanding what is provided in the chart?
