Slide 10 : Uploading Files to WiZiQ Private content: Content that is only accessible by the content owner Public content: Content that can be shared with other members of WiZiQ Tags: Tags let the system categorize your file for that keyword. So next time you or someone else searches content on WiZiQ with that keyword, the member is able to locate that file.

Slide 11 : Uploading Files to WiZiQ Note: There are issues with uploading some content with formulas/ objects. This usually can be corrected easily by converting these documents to PDF format and uploading them. If the problem persists, another work around is to make an image of the formula part of the document and paste the formula as an image rather than as an office object in word.

Slide 12 : Uploading files in a session There are two methods of uploading file in a session: Through Content manager Through Desktop

Slide 19 : FAQ’s Q: I tried uploading a presentation but it failed. What do I do now? A: Confirm that the file does not exceed the allowed size i.e. 10 mb for PowerPoint, Flash files and 3 mb for PDF files. In such case, reduce the size of the file to the allowed limit and then try. Q: I uploaded a file but it is not available in the virtual classroom.  A: Uploaded files undergo processing to make it available in virtual classroom. The processing time may vary from a few seconds to a few hours. If a file fails processing it's not available in the virtual classroom. A file fails processing if it is read only (not a writable copy) or password protected or uploaded from a slower connection or if the page count exceeds 30 in case of PDF files, or the size exceeds 10 mb in case of PowerPoint or flash files.

Slide 20 : FAQ’s Q: Is my uploaded content visible to any other WiZiQ member?  A: Your content is private if you opt to keep it out of public view while uploading it. In my content I plan to present a PowerPoint session, embedded in this session will be movies of demonstrations. Currently we don't support the use of embedded movies, videos and audio files. So you are unable to share them. Q: I want the copyrights of the content to be in the possession of the content creator, and only selected persons to view my content?  A: You always hold the option to let your content be public or private. If you are interested to share your content with a few selected persons, you can uncheck the option 'Make it public' while uploading content. Then share content with your contacts. Your uploaded content and your scheduled sessions always remain your intellectual property on WiZiQ.

Slide 21 : FAQ’s Q: Is it possible to upload the PowerPoint with audio? A: You can upload PowerPoint with recorded narrations or audio. The file can be viewed in the player but audio of such files can not be shared in the virtual classroom. Q: Is there any way to edit out the parts we don't want and still use the presentation?  A: Editing a file after its upload is not currently possible. You may first edit the presentation in MS-PowerPoint and then upload it.
