Definition of vector as a magnitude as well as direction is explained the representation of a vector, using the three axes X,Y and Z in the plane and withe the help of unit vectors is discussed. The scalar and the dot product of vectors are explained withe the help of examples. The use of dot product in Physics is also explained.
