Intermediate level, B1, (16 hours) This course aims to improve your fluency and confidence using English in a business
environment, it encourages professional development and covers the skills, grammar,
and vocabulary at intermediate (B1) level

Business English course (16 hours) Course overview Learn and revise intermediate level grammatical structures such as reported
speech, dependent prepositions, passives, conditionals, future forms, expressing
trends, narrative tenses etc
The course covers a broad range of vocabulary such as corporate structure, business
‘jargon’, business abbreviations, marketing, negotiation , financial terminology,
office objects etc
Learn and practice key skills such as telephoning, meetings, presentations,
negotiation, dealing with figures, making business arrangements, e-mailing, English
business etiquette etc
Develop your comprehension through authentic listening and reading exercises
on themes such as ethics, strategy, negotiation, telephoning and meetings.
Develop your pronunciation through an understanding of English phonetics – start
speaking clearly and confidently

Business English course (16 hours) Course structure There are 8 modules in this 16 hour course and an end of course test and certificate
Each module lasts 2 hours and consists of The course is flexible
All elements, except the live class, can be studied at any time.
The live class will take place at the same time(s) every week and the course can be studied over 4 or 8 weeks.
There are a maximum of 4 learners in the live class and the students and time will remain the same for the duration of the course. The course will begin when 4 learners have enrolled

We’ll also learn common e-mail abbreviations and learn the correct ways to address people in a business e-mail.
You can apply the grammar and vocabulary studied in the course along with the business phrasal's and jargon to create authentic, professional-sounding e-mails.

Finally, we’ll ensure that you speak clearly and correctly
through our pronunciation practice in our live classes This is a flexible course that combines live tuition with me (8 x 50m classes) and self-study modules that can be studied over 4 or8 weeks - when you’ve completed the course you’ll take an exam (40 minutes) and receive a certificate based on your result.
