Description
Angular velocity of a rigid body, its relation with linear velocity has been explained. Some beautiful illustrations have been used for explaining right hand rule for finding the direction of angular velocity. Motion with constant linear acceleration and constant angular acceleration has been compared. As an application the example of rotating turntable has been analyzed. Moment of Inertia and its dependence on the axis of rotation has been discussed.
