The lecture describes the geometry of motion of a particle, uses mathematics to describe motion in terms of position, velocity and acceleration. going through the lecture one can find the definitions of speed, average velocity, instantaneous velocity,graphs depicting various kinds of motion. A number of numerical examples based on the theory has been included.
