Description
The topics are boundary conditions for dielectrics, Refractive index, total internal reflection, fresnel's equation and Brewster angle.A dielectric is an ideal insulator where unlike perfect conductors electric field is present within it too.Starting from the wave equation for electric wave it leads to Snell's law. After showing the path of refracted wave the intensity of refracted wave is calculated.Total internal reflection has been shown beautifully. The light pipes and how messages are propagated through them is brilliant. finally polarization and Brwester's angle is explained.
