INTERFERNCE OF TWO WAVES--YOUNG'S EXPERIMENT

Interference of two waves has been discussed.Experiment with water waves show how when two disturbances propagate , constructive and destructive interference can be produced Interference of sound waves, light waves and radio waves has been demonstrated experimentally.Using blue, red and white light the dependence of size and nature of interference pattern on wavelength has been explained .
