Description
The lecture begins with the usual description of refraction, total internal reflection and fiber optics demonstration of total internal reflection .It shows how to communicate messages through glass pipes. But the most interesting part of the lecture is the interpretation of colour. It shows the idea of three primary colours is not so accurate through a demonstration using Benham's top.It then shows a remarkable experiment conceived by Edwin Land( the inventor of polaroid films) to show that the colour we see depends on how our brain percieve it which may be different for different person. An incredible explanation.
