The topic of this lecture is classification of substances based on their magnetic properties and properties of such substances.Dia, Para, Ferromagnetism, the properties of these materials and comparison with one another has been discussed.Strength of attraction between Ferromagnetic materials and magnetic fields and ferromagnetic domains has been demonstrated.An Iron washer is heated beyond Curie point and it is no longer attracted by magnet Properties of liquid Oxygen - a paramagnetic substance is also included.
