Description
"Definition of buoyant force, and calculation is explained.Archimedes' Principle is used for measuring the fat content in human body.Condition for floatation is explained in a simple way. An interesting question involving Archimedes Principle is asked. Torque acting on a floating body and condition of stability in terms of the torque is also explained. The entire concept is demonstrated by a simple experiment.Introduction and derivation of Bernoulli's Equation and its consequences are described.Relation between pressure and volume and action of siphon are two of them. Demonstration of a siphon,a funnel with a ball and a floating ball in air helps in understanding the principle. A balloon filled with Helium moves opposite to the direction of gravity. What happens when it is in space where there is no gravity and inside an accelerated enclosure--these all are discussed in this lecture. When a car starts from rest then an object in it falls backward. Exactly opposite happens to a balloon filled with Helium which moves forward. The reason is explained here."
