Despite the mishap at the concert, their parents had good news for the whole family. "We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas!" exclaimed their mother. Their older sister and brother squealed but Gabriel and Garth groaned. "Why do we need to go to some place warm? Isn't Christmas supposed to be all about snow?“"Oh Gabriel, this year we want some fun in the sun in our lives!" said Gertrude, their sister. She quickly went upstairs to grab a pair of sunglasses and sported it around the house the rest of the afternoon.After dinner, Garth kicked around an old beach ball in the garage and Gabriel joined him. "What should we do? We both know we hate the tropical weather," said Garth."We could always ask if we could spend a regular Christmas in New York next year then, as a compromise."
