Description
Today in this lecture we're going to introduce you to rate expressions and rate laws. After this various type of reaction such as spontaneous or non- spontaneous .Depending upon the rate at which tendency is realized the compound is classified as labile or non-labile or inert. After all this factor affecting rate of reaction are also discussed. Factors are pressure, temperature and volume. Then we discussed First order integrated rate law, and the half life which is defined as the time it takes for half of the original material to go away, and half life is abbreviated t 1/2.Prof. Catherine Drennan and Dr. Elizabeth Vogel Taylor, 5.111 Principles of Chemical Science, Fall 2008, Massachusetts Institute of Technology: MIT OpenCourseWare), http://ocw.mit.edu (Accessed March 4, 2011).
