Description
"I cannot believe I forgot to stay at Carter Cookie Corner to meet CocoNuts," Carl will have been sighing out loud as he types a quick email with an apology to CocoNuts.
‘CocoNuts’ will not reply and few days will go by as he mopes around the house. Later, Carl will have been reading the San Francisco Chronicle where he comes across a shocking headline that reads: "Carla’s Bakery Delights to Shut Its Doors Soon".
"Carla Berkell has been dealing with a lot of backlash from the baking community and is also battling personal problems unrelated to the bakery," read the end of the article. Carl will suddenly feel like a major jerk for his Carter Cookie Corner outburst.
“I should pay her a visit and apologize”, Carl will have been thinking. So, he will pick up his jacket and walk on out the door. "Bakery Delights" will have been very cramped when Carl gets there. He will see Carla running around behind the counter like a chicken with its head cut off trying to keep things running smoothly.

Slide 3 : "Oh, Carl. Why are you here? Don't you need to run your store?" "I have some employees keeping the store humming. I heard about how you are closing your business soon. Business that bad?" Carla will have been sweeping the floor, but will suddenly stop and begin to cry softly. "Well, after our encounter on Saturday, it was pretty much a stab to my heart. Yes, I realize I should be better about crediting others for their recipes." "Don't worry about that so much. And I am sorry for the way I treated you that morning. I was just distracted. I was just upset and ended up TAKING IT OUT ON YOU." Mini-Story: Carl Visits Carla

Slide 4 : "It's okay. I am glad to see you are supporting me despite the harsh words exchanged." "Anytime. If you don't mind telling me, what personal problems have you been dealing with?" Carl will have been asking as he begins helping himself to a cup of coffee from one of Carla's carafes. "Well, this might sound a little awkward, so I don't know if I should mention it to you," Carla says. She will have been looking down at her shoes and begun blushing slightly. But she continued, "Well, you see, I have an online pen pal." Carl's ears will perk up at that, and he will have been focusing his full attention on Carla as he notices her scarf for the first time.
