Is credit card the only mode of payment? Do we have to fill the application form and submit it along with the payment?Or is it that the application has to be filled only after the registration?

No, the payment can be in cash, with a DD or credit card. For first two modes, you will have to fill the form available at authorized centers or an online form when you are to pay using credit card.

Hello Kalpna. IELTS exam is an international exam required for academic courses and PR to the UK, Australia, New Zealand and even Canada. This exam checks your English language proficiency and conducted by British Council and IDP Australia. Hi Shalini, In case you are to go for your further studies in the countries like Australia, New Zealand, UK and even Canada and US, you may take the IELTS Academic exam. The other exam called General Training (GT) is required in case you are an experienced professional and you want a permanent residency (PR). The fee structure varies depending upon the universities and courses you choose but most of the universities do not require the full payment in the beginning. There are lots of payments options. For the university and the course you should approach a consultant who can provide you these details. As far as the IELTS band calculation is concerned, it is (W L S R)/4 The decimals are rounded up to the upper ceiling which means if your aggregate is 6.25 then, the IELTS Bands would be 6.5.

The calculation for the Listening and Reading is straight forward as the number of correct answers but for speaking and writing it is much different strategy as your grammar, idea and number of words are also taken into account. Hello, I am living here in Canada. I gave IELTS Exam Few times but I got overall 6 Band, Speaking 6.5 to 7, Listening 6 to 6.5, writing 5.5, Reanding 5.5 to 6.
