Pandit Bhikkhu is a renowned practitioner of mindfulness meditation.Pandit
Bhikkhu, who was born in the UK, has been living in Thailand since 1996, and
has practiced in several 'Insight' meditation lineages. He finished a degree
in Psychology from Thailand- and is known for comparisons and the using of
tools from both the psychological and meditations side of the practice.
Currently he is finishing a further degree in Buddhist Studies and teaching
meditation and psychology in the same University. Since 2007 he has been
leading Bangkok's only active meditation group for English speakers,
arranging events large and small on a regular basis under the banner of
Little Bangkok Sangha.


*The Gatekeeper*

What makes for a ‘good’ quality that one should develop? We all can name
qualities like patience, compassion etc.. that would be good to possess and
expand, but there needs to be a clear technique, a methodology for
translating the vague intention into a genuine change of your being. How
much of your ‘self’ needs to be let go of, and how much should be trained
and developed? Rather than trying to solve all your life’s problems, let
Mindfulness take the role of a Gatekeeper.

personal & professional effectiveness and will also tell us how to achieve
them
