How much money will you save in the month of March 2008? Q2. The pth term of an AP. is q and the qth term is p, show that the rth term is p +q – r. Q3. How many terms of the AP: 24, 21, 18, ........... must be taken so that there sum is 78? Q4. Find the sum of all integers between 50 and 500 which are divisible by 7. The first integer after 50 which is divisible by 7 is 56 and the last integer before 500 which is divisible by 7 is 497. So the AP is 56, 63, 70,....... 497. Q5. A sum of Rs 1000 is invested at 8% simple interest per year. Calculate the interest at the end of each year. Do this interest form an AP? If so find the interest at the end of 30 years making use of this fact.
