English Conversation Class 2 Activities

Activity One : Activity One Working on WizIQ and Reviewing the Binomials Remember the chat protocol from last lesson: If you want to ask a question: a) click on the “raise hands” icon; b) type “?” into the chat box; The moderator will see that you want to ask a question and will respond; Remember to be patient. Your turn will come. Look at the “binomial exercise and first type your answers into the chat box.

Slide 3 : Working with audio In this lesson we will be working with audio, with the whiteboard and with chat. When you are given control of the Microphone you will see that the Microphone icon is “unblocked”. This Means you can speak and we can hear you. When you are not speaking “mute” your Microphone by clicking on the box, so that we can hear each person without interference.

Activity Two : Activity Two Unusual Houses: 20 questions You will see different types of houses, do you know what these are in English? Type your ideas into the chat box. Cut and Paste In this activity you need to write. The best way to do this is to type your answer in Word or Notepad etc. then copy it and paste it on the whiteboard when the moderator gives you the writing controls. Please do not click on the TABs when you have whiteboard controls. If you do this we change whiteboard!!!
