Slide 2 : Ted and Terry Tate had been living in Cut And Shoot, Texas. They loved to watch SPORTS. They had been watching SporTV every day of their lives since they were kids. They liked to play sports too, but they weren’t very good.
They had been trying out for every sport that year. They had been trying out for basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and even chess. However, they never QUITE made the cut.
Well, the truth is that they hadn’t been getting anywhere near making the TEAM. They were pretty bad athletes. The cheerleaders other and team members had been making fun of them.
One day though, everything changed. The Tate Brothers had been WAITING in line to sign up for the handball try outs when a tall man walked up to them. They had seen him before. He had been telling them that he knew a SECRET that could help them join any team.
They hadn’t really believed Mr. Toadtoes , but they figured they didn’t have anything to lose. So, they had been thinking about doing what he told them to. And amazingly it worked. They MADE THE CUT. They were finally PART of a team. The Tate Brothers were ecstatic.
Ted and Terry thanked the man who told them the secret. They asked Mr. Toadtoes to be their personal trainer. At first he didn’t want to. But they had been asking for so long that he finally agreed to help them. However, he made them promise to do EXACTLY what he told them to.
