This practical presentation will focus on the ebb and flow of new words entering the English language in a constant stream. I will illustrate some practical ideas and activities using different Web 2.0 tools in order to enhance effective language learning.

I will share my experiences with technology in face-to-face and online classes.

This is a section from a “Community Dictation.” Students are given a part of a story written on a piece of paper. They have to stand up and put themselves in order of the story and then in turn, they dictate their part of the story so that everyone writes the full story. Students then do peer correction.
