VOICE<br/>There are two special forms for verbs called voice:<br/>Active voice <br/>Passive voice<br/>The Active voice: This is the voice that we use most of the time. In the active voice, the object receives the action of the verb. Eg. Cats eat fish.<br/>The passive voice: In the passive voice, the subject receives the action of the verb: Eg. Fish are eaten by cats.<br/>CONJUGATION OF THE VERB ‘WRITE’/ PRESENT TENSE<br/>ACTIVE VOICE<br/>1. She writes poetry.(Simple present)<br/>2. She is writing poetry.(Present continuous)<br/>3. She has written poetry.(present perfect tense)<br/>4. She has been writing poetry. (Present perfect continuous tense)<br/> PASSIVE VOICE<br/>1.Poetry is written by her.<br/><br/>Poetry is being written by her.<br/><br/>Poetry has been written by her.<br/><br/>No form.<br/>Exercises - Transform the sentences from Active to passive voice.<br/>1.
