Slide 2 : Someone must have SPILLED THE BEANS because even the PRESIDENT heard about their machine. She came to visit Pete in prison. She asked if she could borrow Pete’s machine to feed all the poor people in the country. She promised to let Pete out of prison if he would help her. The President told him that they might even win the Nobel Peace Prize. So, every day Pete would make pickled pig feet and other popular dishes for everyone that passed by city hall. Pete’s machine could produce as much as they wanted...so everyone would pig out. It was an amazing EXPERIENCE. However, there was another prisoner named Paul Parker who couldn’t stand Pete’s success. He must have been very selfish because he wanted Pete’s machine only for himself. He decided that he would escape from the prison COMPOUND and disappear with it. So, he found a SPOT where he could jump over the prison fence. He knew where Pete’s machine should have been, so he stopped by to pick it up. Then Paul Parker decided he would take the machine to his parent’s apartment on the top floor of the Empire State Building. After all that work, Paul must have been really hungry. He decided that he would tell the machine to make a PILE of spaghetti. He should have been really happy when the spaghetti piled up on his plate. However, he couldn’t figure out how to stop the PROCESS. Some of the sauce must have dripped on the keyboard. The machine short-circuited and started going crazy. If Paul couldn’t stop it, the machine would soon fill the room with spaghetti. Then it would POUR out the windows and fill the city. People would be swimming in spaghetti sauce for days.
