Surah Al Baqarahv163-171

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَLook at Your Mushaf So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.[Al Araaf:204]إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely[Al Anfal:2]Surah al BaqarahAyahs 163 –171وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَCreated UsNurtured UsGuided UsFavoredUsObey HimOther Ilah(fake gods)إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاء مِن مَّاء فَأَحْيَابِهِ الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِوَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاء مِن مَّاء فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاوَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاء وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَللعIdraakShallow PerceptionRushdDeeper UnderstandingSo the one who has given us everything, we too should give everything of ours to Him.Say, "Indeed,my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allāh, Lord of the worlds. [al-An’aam: 162]Lessonٌدِحإَو ٌَلَِإ ُْكُُهَلِإَو َوُه َّلاِإ ََلَِإ َّلا ُيمِحَّرلإ ُنَْحَّْرلإ ِفِ َّنِإ ِضْرَلأإَو ِتإَواَمَّسلإ ِقْلَخ ِراََّنَّلإَو ِلْيَّللإ ِفلاِتْخإَو ِفِ يِرَْتَ ِتَِّلإ ِْلُْفْلإَو َساَّنلإ ُعَفنَي اَمِت ِرْحَبْلإ ءاَّم نِم ءاَمَّسلإ َنِم َُّللَّإ َلَزنَأ اَمَواَيْحَبَف اَِتِْوَم َدْعَت َضْرَلأإ ِهِت ٍةَّتإَد ُِّك نِم اَيهِف َّثَتَو ِحَيَِّرلإ ِفيِْصَْتَو َْيَْت ِرَّخَسُمْلإ ِباَحَّسلإَو ِضْرَلأإَو ءاَمَّسلإ َنوُلِلْعَي ٍمْوَلِّل ٍتَيََٓلأوَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَندَادًا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلَّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah . But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah . I ask of You Your love, the love of whoever loves You and the love of those deeds which would draw me to attaining Your love.إًدإَدهَأ َِّللَّإ ِنوُد نِم ُذِخَّتَي نَم ِساَّنلإ َنِمَو َِّللَّإ ِّةُحَك ْمَُنَوُّبُِيُ َبإَذَعْلإ َنْوَرَي ْذِإ ْإوُمَلَظ َنيَِّلَّإ ىَرَي ْوَلَو اًعيَِجَ َِِّللَّ َةَّوُلْلإ َّنَأ ِبإَذَعْلإ ُديِدَش ََّللَّإ َّنَأَو َِِّّللَّ اًّبُح ُّدَشَأ ْإوُنَمٓأ َنيَِّلَّإَوWorshipFavorsLoveLove is the foundation of worshipWe talked about...إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ الَّذِينَ اتُّبِعُواْ مِنَ اتَّبَعُواْ وَرَأَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الأَسْبَابُ [And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship]إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ الَّذِينَ اتُّبِعُواْ مِنَ اتَّبَعُواْوَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.Too Late!!The reality is that the object or the person we turn to has no power, no authority.يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي الأَرْضِ حَلالاً طَيِّبًا وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. The children’s behaviorchanged dramatically and was so consistently good the superintendent of the entire school district of 15,000 students took note and made all his schools change to wholesome food.وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing."
