(4-3) Promotional Increment + Existing Basic Pay i.e. Col. No. 2 + 6 Promotional Increment allowed on Existing Basic including Grade Pay @ 3% on Col. No.2 In case of functional promotion between 2nd January to 30th June the incumbent concerned will exercise option to enjoy the fixation benefit on 1st July i.e.after receiving the annual increment on that date. In this case higher rate of Grade Pay is admissible on the date of functional promotion.But the same can not be taken in account for calculation of increment.( As per G.O. No. 2728-F Dated 07/04/2009 of W.B.Finance Department). Date of effect for promotion (Between 2nd Janu to 30th June) Basic Pay +Grade Pay (Between 2nd January to 30th June) Existing Grade Pay (Between 2nd January to 30th June) Get Annual Increment as on 1st July on Exsting Basic Pay@3% rounded 10, +Existing Basic Pay Including Grade Pay. (Col.No. 2 + 3% Normal Incre) Get Promotional increment @ 3% on Promotional Basic Pay, as on 1st July +Promotional Basic Pay. ( Col.No.7 + 3% Incr) PAY FIXED FINALLY in the Upper post as on 1st July. (Col.No.8 + 9) New Basic Pay including Higher Grade Pay(without any Promotional Increment Between 2nd January to 30th June,Effect from his promotional Date. (Col.No. 2+ 5 ) Allowed initial pay fixation due to promotion from 2nd January to 30th June.Differance between Existing grade pay to Higher promotional grade pay(Higher Grade Pay - Existing Grade Pay (As per his Option as he willing to get only Hither Grade Pay & He opt to get his promotionl Increment on 1st July, In case of functional promotion between 2nd July to 1st January the incumbent concerned will exercise option to enjoy the fixation benefit on 1st July i.e.after receiving the annual increment on that date.
