Transpiration : Transpiration The process by which leaves give off water.
Tuber : Tuber A swollen underground stem.
Taproots : Taproots Deep roots that have tiny hairs to absorb water and nutrients.
Fibrous Roots : Fibrous Roots Long, shallow roots. Grass has fibrous roots.
Germinate : Germinate Sprout and begin to grow.
Carbon Dioxide : Carbon Dioxide Gas breathed out by animals. CARBON DIOXIDE
Spores : Spores Tiny cells from which some plants germinate.
Nutrients : Nutrients Substances that all living things need to grow.
Dormancy : Dormancy State of lower activity during cold seasons.
Photosynthesis : Photosynthesis Process by which plants make their own food. Carbon dioxide and water combine to make food! Carbon dioxide is taken in, and Oxygen is given off!!
Stamen : Stamen Part of a flower that makes pollen.
Pistil : Pistil Part of a flower that collects pollen.
Pollination : Pollination Pollen is carried from a stamen to a pistil.
