3. ABOUT YOUR TEACHER : 3. ABOUT YOUR TEACHER My name is Joseph Sneed, and I was born into a devout Christian Home. After intense study, questioning and reflection, I accepted Islam in 2003. It wasn't until 2005 that I began to practice the religion with furvor.
I attended Al Maghrib Institute Siminars on our beliefs and participate in allot of Islamic Studies Programs. I'm very active in my faith and faith based communities.

ISLAM: the root is SLM, and it means Peace or Submission
So, Islam is a way of life through submission to our Creator, in belief and Action. It brings about peace of mind and heart.

19. #2. Belief in the Angels : 19. #2. Belief in the Angels (11) The Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say), "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)." ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter 2 Verse 285.

Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some you disbelieved and some you killed. ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter 2, Verse 87)

Belief in the Messengers and that which they brought (Books) (2) Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and 'Îsa (jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."

We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees (of honour); and to 'Îsa (jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), We gave clear proofs and evidence, and supported him with Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)]. If Allah had willed, succeeding generations would not have fought against each other, after clear Verses of Allah had come to them, but they differed - some of them believed and others disbelieved. If Allah had willed, they would not have fought against one another, but Allah does what He likes.

And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.

Al-Hawariyyun (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah)."

I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Îsa (jesus) is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, 'Îsa (jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'an] till the Day of Resurrection . Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."

Belief in the Messengers and that which they brought (Books) Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Îsa (jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you [i.e. 'Îsa (jesus) being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity], say: (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie."

Belief in the Messengers and that which they brought (Books) Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Îsa (jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you [i.e. 'Îsa (jesus) being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity], say: (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie."

Belief in the Messengers and that which they brought (Books) And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Îsa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them [the resemblance of 'Îsa (jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Îsa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) عليهما السلام]:

This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Îsa (jesus)], and La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #62)

(1) This is the book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #2

Belief in the Messengers and that which they brought (Books) And when there came to them (the Jews), a book (this Qur'an) from Allah confirming what is with them [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], although aforetime they had invoked Allah (for coming of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) in order to gain victory over those who disbelieved, then when there came to them that which they had recognised, they disbelieved in it. So let the Curse of Allah be on the disbelievers.

41. #4. Belief in a Day of Reckoning : 41. #4. Belief in a Day of Reckoning And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped.

It simply means that Allah knew everything before He Created anything, and He willed it into existence.
