Taught music theory and composition and electronic music production, recording and engineering privately. This experience was a learning experience for me as well as my student(s) as I learned to adjust to a more slack attitude of west coast students who were unwilling (or otherwise incapable of working) to master knowledge and skills.

Consulted for Reuters America (news agency) as a designer and coder of "an online newsletter" at the emergence of the World Wide Web (Internet). Taught CEO and other execs what the WWW was and the promise it held for growth, which I successfully predicted and helped to foster as an Internet evangelist. Developed a complete online newsletter that formed the basis for http://www.reuters.com giving executives a crash course in programming and use of appropriate technologies.

Taught percussion (drums, etc.) and music theory and composition to students ranging from elementary through college levels. Many very satisfied (and no dissatisfied) students. Rave reviews from parents and recital attendees.

Taught private music lessons in drums (snare drum, dance drum set) and percussion (mallets, timpani, etc.) to students my own age and older with considerable success and several very satisfied (and no dissatisfied) students.
