About
CHARLOTTE CHEA
A typical chinese from a typical chinese family.
very passionate in teaching others about my mother language and its art and history.
chinese art and culture, chinese language both have a very long history. Some part of its development still remain mysterious and not yet fully discovered as its history n background is too broad.
Chinese word develop from one another. The most basic word develop from drawing.
For a chinese, something more than 3 means a lot. 'ren' means people. 'zhong' is a word made up of 3 'ren' words means a lot of people. Learning chinese words is like learning art too.
I,myself love chinese literature more. Not just because i love story. Because in each literature story itself stands a very meaningful meaning, knowledge from our ancestors.
Chinese idioms teach me a lot of principle of life too.
Like 'qiu ren bu ru qiu ji',means wanting or hoping others to help you,you yourself help yourself is faster and better.
I also have a great enthusiasm in cooking. Who don't need food? Food is not just something to just keep you from starving. Food is art. Cooking does not involve food itself only. It involving a chef's feeling while cooking, the environment and weather of the person who is going to eat it. A busy or a sad day...if u can provide that person a piece of artistic and delicious food, that gonna cheer that person up. In a cold weather, you might need a piece or a bowl of something hot. In a hot weather, you might crave for something that is truly icy cool to lower your body heat that keep increasing. When you are sad or when you want to make yourself happier, there comes a sweet n tasty dessert gonna push your mood to a higher level, another lucky and happy day for you.
