About Derek Ham

Distant learning and online learning environments have become a growing phenomenon over the last fifteen years. How necessary and inevitable it is to participate in mobility, as it has become a basic concept of our daily life. The word mobility is defined as the ability to move or to be moved, but today’s economical milieu defines mobility much beyond affixing four wheels. Due to the changes in trade and market, education programs that are fixed to “real-time” live instruction will soon be insufficient an incapable to meet the demands of our transient society. This online environment is in many ways an exercise for me in participating in the evolving trend of education.
